MD HQL Course - Part I
Monday, February 5th, 2024

This course is a requirement for purchasing a handgun and also for obtaining your Wear & Carry Permit. If you already possess your HQL Permit, you MUST still attend this course to fulfill the 16 hour MD requirement for this permit. You will obtain two additional permits for legal carry in 36+ states, which will be included in this course.

Our 4 hour all-classroom based MD HQL and concealed firearm permit course extensively covers handgun safety, shooting fundamentals, handgun selection, ammunition, holsters and purses, malfunctions, escalation of force and relevant laws for MD, UT, VA, DC and surrounding areas. This course meets the training requirements to submit application for a MD Handgun Qualification License and Utah Concealed Firearm Permit for legal carry in up to 33 states. *Florida requirements can also be met by adding to this course with additional live fire session. )
Range fee and ammunition not included for live fire portion.

Live fire session will be scheduled during the class time for a future date.

Course is taught by NRA Certified & Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification Certified Firearms Instructors.

MD Wear & Carry Course Part II
Saturday, February 10th, 2024
9:00am-4:00pm
This classroom course will include personal safety and crime prevention strategies, and a comprehensive law review specific to the MD Wear & Carry Permit. We will also be drawing from the holster in the course in order to introduce you to specific considerations when carrying a firearm and purchasing a proper hoslter.

Subsequent range sessions will be scheduled after this course in order to fulfill the hour requirement and build skills to pass the live fire qualification with a high score.*

*Range Fees, ammunition and MD Electronic Fingerprinting are not included in cost.
